The project aims to support young entrepreneurs on Union Island through various strategies. SusGren will select five young individuals and conduct a needs assessment to identify specific areas requiring assistance. Selected entrepreneurs will participate in training sessions focusing on customer service, marketing, and finance. Small grants will be provided based on the needs assessment, enabling entrepreneurs to purchase necessary supplies and equipment for business expansion. SusGren will document each beneficiary and create a marketing magazine showcasing their businesses. The project will culminate in an expo on Union Island, allowing grantees to display their products and services to the community. These are the two main objectives of the project; – To provide an opportunity for young people on Union Island to expand their entrepreneurial capacity – Promote sustainable livelihoods as a supplementary means towards the challenge of unemployment
